The Biom’Sphere

The Biom’Sphere is a powerful, triple-action overnight serum suitable for all skin types. In three stages it helps enhance the skin’s biome, hold moisture and provides a real oxygen boost to promote healthy and exceptionally clear skin by aiding its natural defense mechanism and leaving it balanced and deeply hydrated.

Stage one

The main aim of The Biom’Sphere is to help enhance and rebalance the skin’s microbiome which can become compromised by the everyday actions we are often exposed to: frequent washing, pollution, preservatives from cosmetic products and strong sun irradiation of the skin. Extensive research has shown that skin with low biodiversity tends to improve when you introduce a variety of the right kind of bacteria to restore optimum skin health. The Biom’Sphere is enriched with pre- and pro-biotics, such as Inulin, Lactobacillus/ Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Bifida Ferment Lysate and Lactose, which help support the microflora and barrier function of the skin and encourage the appearance of clear skin. We have included post-biotics (Lactobacillus Ferment, Bacillus Ferment) which are made up of peptides, fatty acids and biosurfactants – all produced by living bacteria which help to maintain the balance in skin microbiota, strengthen defences, promote the barrier function and reduce the appearance of puffiness. Black Bee Honey Ferment is produced by the rare dark European honey bee, Apis mellifera. It is fermented with Zymomonas mobilis, a bacterium capable of reacting only with sucrose, glucose and fructose in honey leaving the complex sugars needed to favor the recovery of the cutaneous microflora. This ferment is incredibly supportive in rejuvenating skin microflora after stress and rebalancing skin that may have become acne-prone, dry, excessively oily or itchy from a loss of protective biome.

Stage two

To achieve deep hydration, we have included a powerful combination of natural water-attracting and soothing ingredients that aim to temporarily ease the look of puffiness, provide an immediate and long-lasting moisturizing effect and instantly give you a tighter, firmer look. These include Hyaluronic Acid of two very low molecular weights: 5000 Dalton and 2000 Dalton (one of the smallest natural occurring molecular weights of hyaluronic acid) and Pseudoalteromonas Exopolysaccharide, a marine ferment obtained through biotechnology that has strong water-attracting properties. These help to reduce visible signs of aging and provide the appearance of plumper and more-refined skin.

 Stage three

The upper layers of the skin are almost exclusively supplied by atmospheric oxygen from the ambient air thus, the deeper layers of skin often don’t receive enough of the vital external molecular oxygen they need to support normal structure and activity. An Oxygen complex helps energise and promote the skin’s natural balance and supports natural collagen production, cell regeneration and turnover. This improves the appearance of the depth of fine lines and wrinkles and skin roughness appears smoother.
